February is the month of love, sharing and caring since Valentines Day is the “heart” of the month! As I walk through the buildings it is always evident of what holiday is approaching next by all the artwork decorating the classrooms. Of course the predominant colors of the month are pink, white and red so you’ll see them everywhere along with hearts, doilies and lace!

I know that all of you will remember back in November when we sold cardboard “bricks” for Helping a Hero Foundation. In fact, Kids R Kids in the Houston and Dallas area were challenged to raise the needed funds in order to purchase homes for wounded soldiers. We were thrilled to hear that a home was being awarded to a soldier right here in our area!

The Management team at Kids R Kids West Frisco and Legacy West campuses, along with our Pre-K classes, had the privilege to attend the home dedication for Sergeant John Wayne Walding on Jan. 24th, 2012 in Little Elm, Texas. It was amazing for the children to see what their efforts resulted in….an actual home for a soldier and his precious family! We enjoyed this event so much that we will continue our efforts with Helping a Hero Foundation.

The Management team and I cannot be more proud of how both schools are doing. We realize that there has been quite a bit of change lately and are so thankful for all of our families who have been so patient and understanding.
